Emilie Carrington

Emilie holds an Associate Degree in Business with a major in events and tourism, as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Design with a major in business, both from UTAS (go off, Emilie).

With a diverse background, her previous role as the marketing, social media, and events officer at HR+ Tasmania equipped her with expertise in marketing, photography, graphic design, user experience, and event management.

Emilie is a graduate of the prestigious Women in Leadership Impact Program, completing it in 2022. This program is designed to empower and develop leadership skills among women professionals. Through this program, Emilie has honed her leadership abilities, gaining valuable insights and tools to drive change and make a significant impact in her field. She’s also a Certified Project Officer by the Institute of Project Management, a certification she earned in 2020 (go girl!).

When she’s not immersing herself in the digital world, you'll find her tending to her other life as a hobby aquarist. Yep, you heard that right. She’s got a whopping 435L tank in her living room - it’s a mini-Amazon in there! She’s also got three furballs – Felix, George, and Lucy – who she rescued and now share her kingdom.

You may notice a slight twang when Emilie speaks – that’s because she grew up in the picturesque city of Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
