At S. Group, we Chase. Wonder. in the firm idea that we can play a role in eliminating world poverty, particularly through education. After the successful completion of the first classroom we have the opportunity to continue the development of Victory School of Hope, by developing another 2 additional classrooms.
Vanuatu is a nation made up of 83 tropical islands. It’s best known for its beautiful beaches and fancy resorts. In a word, it could be described as paradise.
The largest island in the chain is Port Vila and tourism is the main industry. But move back behind the hotels and the restaurants and you’ll find the village of Black Sands.
Black Sands will not be on any sightseeing tours. It’s a place where poverty surrounds…a place where simple shacks are made from discarded metal sheets…a place where children grow up often without education or opportunity.

We are so proud to have to have partnered with local leaders to develop the Victory School of Hope, using our architecture skills to design a new classroom. With the first classroom now complete and open to students, several S. Group team members recently travelled to attend the opening ceremony, and to see firsthand the impact that this project is already having on the community.
This is just the beginning.
For the children of Black Sands to have the opportunity to complete their education, what they need is something many of us take for granted. They need classrooms – more specifically, for the 2018 school year, they need a Kindergarten and Year 7 classroom.
Our Chase Wonder beanies will keep you nice and warm this winter AND you can feel good knowing you have helped the children of Black Sands, Vanuatu get one step closer to chasing their dreams through education.
