When our client told us about his plans to develop Launceston's old Polish Hall into a modern dental practice, we realised it was a great opportunity to create a fresh brand presence which was reflective of his expanding business as well as the contemporary and innovative space it would be housed in!
Starting with a brand workshop, we came to understand more about their unique approach to business, ideal target market, and how the dental practice should be positioned within the marketplace to stand out both locally and to allow for the potential of national growth.
Once the brand strategy was written, we then researched and developed new name suggestions, resulting in 'Innova Dental', a name which stems from the idea of innovation - something Bing and his team place great emphasis on within the business.
Carrying this idea of innovation through to the logo design, we were intent on creating a brand which was contemporary, professional, and unique (we definitely didn't want to feature teeth or a mouth in the design!). The brand also needed to strike a balance between looking clean and sterile (after all, this is dentistry!) while conveying a flexible, nurturing and friendly environment.
The resulting brand ticks all of these boxes. It's very different from other competitors in the market. It's clean and contemporary. And most important of all, it reflects an approach to business which is agile and forward thinking, yet strongly people-focused.
