Launceston Toyota took a brave approach to their marketing during the 2016/17-cricket season. Breaking with traditional media, Toyota left it in the creative hands of S. Group to develop a personal, engaging social media campaign. Four 60-second short videos were developed introducing their friendly and slightly cricket-obsessed team from new and used cars, the service department and the girls that keep the engine room running.
The investment proved an instant success, both by driving traffic through Facebook (in record numbers) and, demonstrating the loveable larrikins within the sales team. The campaign proved each of the team members could have a laugh at themselves while being thoroughly professional.
