Victory School Vanuatu project update.
The bossman has been busy chasing wonder in Vanuatu recently!
We’ve been working in partnership with Victory Christian College in Bendigo for almost a year to help in building a school at Black Sands (Vanuatu) to help the community recover from the devastation of Cyclone Pam just over two years ago.
The community of Black Sands is facing many challenges at the moment, battling poverty, illicit drug use, organised crime and inadequate health care.
Currently, the students are outgrowing their temporary school buildings that aren't cyclone proof and lack proper ventilation.
Since visiting Black Sands earlier this year the team here at S. have been busy masterplanning the school development, and we are stoked to announce that the footings have now been dug and poured, commencing construction on the first new classroom!
Check out how we're helping to break the cycle of poverty through education. #ChaseWonder
