Craft CMS conference shenanigans.
In the lead-up to the Craft CMS Dot One conference on the 5th of February, we think now is the perfect time to reflect on Sam and Josh's adventures in Berlin at the Dot All conference late last year.
Cast your mind back to September 2018 – we’re not sure what you were doing then, but renowned world-traveller Sam Haberle and resident Craft CMS expert, Josh Crawford, had the unique opportunity to head to the Dot All conference in Berlin, Germany. Dot All is an annual conference for Craft CMS that changes cities (and countries) each year, focusing on getting the community together, learning and having a great time. At S. Group, Craft CMS is our go-to content management system for our clients, providing an incredibly flexible, robust and user-friendly system to build a website on.
Sam and Josh represented S. Group and Verbb respectively, meeting the Craft CMS team, fellow agencies and getting to put faces to names for the worldwide community. With a total of 20 talks over two days and a full-day workshop, there was plenty of content to consume ranging from technical workshops, design and user experience.
The fellas came home inspired and full to the brim with the latest and greatest web development insights. These included things on the technical side, like the importance of investing in utility-first CSS and how to develop effective e-commerce sites, as well as more introspective insights, like the importance of using web development skills responsibly.
Both Josh and Javan (our two favourite developers) will be speaking at Dot One in Melbourne on the 5th of February. The event will be open to the public, so whether you're interested in learning more about Craft CMS, or just looking to heckle, come join us!
