Residential architecture.
Perched on an elevated but level site looking east towards the mountains, the brief from the client was to create a 'timeless design'.
The architecture draws on a variety of forms and materiality in response to the suburban yet natural context. Passive solar design utilising thermal mass and strategic glazing placement balanced with building form minimises the need for heating and cooling.
