Intensification
04ASH explores the intensification of inner suburban Launceston. Well versed in the intricacies of development, the project saw members of the S. design team source under-utilised suburban plots within walking distance of Launceston’s CBD. Considered design logistics produced, what we believe, is a stellar model that could proto-type inner-suburban compact living in smaller sized cities.
With under 130m2 of floor area, the individual designs utilise connection to outdoor space, volume and meticulous planning to ensure a feeling of space akin to a larger home, contained in a smaller footprint.
