We’d like to introduce you to The Ghost House! Originally a 1950’s house in a 50s suburban setting, the ghost of the old house is now strewn across the new form.
Why demo and build? Why not simply grab a vacant block of land and build which would likely be simpler and more cost-effective? Well, our clients LOVED where they already were - the neighbourhood, the area, so why not stay put and also have the dream home!
What has transpired is an epic mix of modern and old. Quirky, fun, yet still quite mature. Original materials and textures have been recycled - bricks and timber, for example, being re-used in the fabric of the building, the fit-out, and also throughout the furnishing of the new home!
