Perched above Launceston and adjacent to one of our favourite cottages, ‘Ava’. The Spark House holds a bold position overlooking the city.

The context holds significant history and heritage balanced with a number of tasteful contemporary additions and dwellings. The exterior is planted solidly in context with the lower level using up-cycled style brickwork, with a contrasting lightweight black pavilion floating above.

The brief - a family home that centres itself around the public spaces functioning socially. The upper level of the home is centred around a huge two storey void that provides a visual connection between the two main living areas.
