Junction Arts Festival is unique annual arts and cultural event, set in Launceston's picturesque Prince's Square.
This renowned celebration has been taking place since 2011, so our challenge was to create a memorable and distinctive brand for 2017 the festival while continuing to reflect its broader long-term vision.
The brief for the 2017 style was to create a striking minimal design that connected with the gorgeous festival hub; Prince's Square. Focusing on the fountain at the centre of the of the square and the bold shapes and lines that stem from it, the design features distinctive lines which symbolise the journey an individual might take as they experience this eclectic celebration.
Upon entering the festival hub, patrons were greeted by the striking design on the program and throughout the park signage, clearly identifying all areas. Nestled among the rainbow-lit trees, with festival-goers enjoying delicious Tasmanian fare and revelling in arts and culture, the 2017 festival was absolutely outstanding. We're so proud to be part of this incredible festival, and can't wait to get started on making the magic for 2018!
